Items prohibited for shipping to Russia

Allowed items, max value $300 per unit:

  • Clothing and footwear. If the material isn't listed in the declaration, any type works, including leather.
  • Sports goods, including skates, skis, snowboards, SUP boards, golf and hockey sticks, and accessories.
  • Board games.
  • Supplements and vitamins.
  • Ready-to-eat non-perishable food in its original factory packaging (sweets, sauces, snacks), up to 5 kg per recipient. Opened or loose food is not accepted.
  • Liquids, including carbonated drinks, no more than 3 liters per package.
  • Hygiene products: soap, shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste, razors.
  • Pet gear and accessories: leashes, collars, bowls, beds, carriers, toys, clothing.
  • Home textiles: bedding, curtains, bedspreads, pillows, blankets.
  • Candles.
  • Books.
  • Baby strollers and car seats.
  • Vinyl records, allowed only on Universal and CDEK plans.
  • Musical instruments.
  • Mixing consoles and pro audio equipment.
  • Speakers, speaker systems, and amplifiers. Shipping allowed only on Econom and Universal plans.
  • Printers, except 3D printers.
  • Hand tools, like screwdrivers and wrenches.
  • Wristwatches, including regular and smart watches, with no precious metals or stones.
  • Paintings.
  • Home textiles and crafts: rugs, fabrics, yarn, embroidery kits.
  • Household tableware: glass and ceramic dishes for food and drinks, vases, and other glass items.
  • Watch straps. If the material isn't listed in the declaration, any type works, including leather.
  • Camping gear: sleeping bags, tents, hammocks, and shelters, but strictly not military, camouflage, green, or earthy colors.
  • Toys of all kinds: dolls, playsets, construction sets. On CDEK plans we ship up to 6 different toys per package. Declare them as Board game.
  • Bags of all kinds: travel bags, suitcases, school backpacks, cosmetic bags. On CDEK plans we ship up to 2 bags per package. Wallets, purses and card holders do not count toward that limit, you can add them on top. Declare them as Hand luggage accessories.

On the Econom plan you can ship more toys and bags. In that case the recipient takes responsibility for customs clearance. Message support with a link to the item before you buy.

Allowed items, max value $300 per unit, no more than one unit per package, and only together with other non-sanctioned goods:

  • Decorative figurines and statuettes made of porcelain, plastic, ceramic, wood, or metal.
  • Belts, bracelets, costume jewelry, and jewelry, including plastic and metal items.
  • Glasses of all kinds, including sports glasses, sunglasses, and lenses. Declare them as Sports equipment.
  • Decorative and skincare cosmetics: eyeshadow, lipstick, mascara, foundation, scrubs, masks, deodorants, brushes, sponges, creams, serums, and toners. Declare them as personal hygiene or cleansing products.
  • Electric shavers.

Allowed items, max value $2500 per unit:

  • Game consoles, including Steam Deck. VR devices allowed no more than once every six months.
  • Apple TV.
  • Nintendo docking stations.
  • Computers, including laptops, except toughbooks.
  • Hard drives, SSD, HDD.
  • Graphics cards.
  • Tablets and e-readers, except toughbooks.
  • Monitors and TVs up to 27 inches, no damage insurance.
  • Modems, routers, network gear.
  • Keyboards, mice, and other input devices.
  • Mobile phones and smartphones.
  • Capture cards, external or internal.
  • Digital cameras and webcams.
  • Flash drives.
  • Coolers and motherboards.

Prohibited for delivery to Russia and Belarus

  • All household appliances.
  • Power tools.
  • Processors.
  • Camera accessories like filters and lenses without a camera included.
  • Transmitters and receivers for audio or video recording and playback.
  • Note: speakers and monitors, even ones with built-in speakers, are allowed.
  • Scanners.
  • Construction and diagnostic devices.
  • Military, camouflage, and tactical clothing or accessories.
  • Watches made of precious metals or stones. Watches with sapphire crystal only are allowed.
  • Parts for cars, motorcycles, and boats.
  • Fish finders.

Not shipped on CDEK plans

  • Meat, poultry, offal, sausages and meat snacks, including jerky.
  • Fish, crustaceans, molluscs and seafood in any form: fresh, frozen, dried, cured, smoked, canned, and caviar.
  • Milk and dairy: milk, milk powder, cream, cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, butter, infant formula.
  • Eggs, egg powder and melange.
  • Honey and beekeeping products.
  • Canned food containing milk, eggs, meat, offal, blood or insects.
  • Pet food, treats, vitamins, supplements and medication.
  • Grain, flour, cereals, bran, flakes and grain granules.
  • Nuts in shell or shelled, dried mushrooms, dried onion.
  • Ivory and items made from it.

These items can be shipped on the Econom plan. In that case the recipient takes responsibility for customs clearance. Message support with a link to the item before you buy, and we will advise on the plan and paperwork.

Battery restrictions for all countries:

  • No more than two devices with batteries, like a laptop, phone, tablet, or wireless headphones, per package.
  • Only factory kits are allowed: device plus one main battery plus one spare battery.
  • Loose batteries, including Li-ion, NiMH, and others, are prohibited.
  • Batteries over 100 W (5.0 Ah) are prohibited.
  • Power banks are allowed only with the device they're intended for. Without the device, they're prohibited.
  • RC models with Li-Pol batteries are prohibited.

Important: even compliant packages with rechargeable batteries are sometimes returned, for example by USPS or FedEx.


Fully prohibited in any package, all countries:

1. Rechargeable batteries and batteries:

  • Loose batteries of any type.
  • Batteries over 100 W (5.0 Ah).
  • Power banks without the main device they're intended for.
  • Radio-controlled models with lithium-polymer batteries.

2. Weapons, military, and related goods:

  • Weapons, including airsoft guns, their parts, ammunition, and components.
  • Any knives, including kitchen knives.
  • Thermal imagers, night vision devices, optics.
  • Dual-use military or near-military gear: radios, first aid kits, gas masks, military electronics.
  • Any army-related goods, including pouches, tools, parts, and accessories.

3. Industrial, navigation, and radio equipment:

  • Industrial equipment, parts and spare parts, controllers, chips, control units.
  • Radar equipment, radars, transmitters, receivers.
  • Marine and aviation navigation equipment, including sonars.

4. Hazardous substances and goods:

  • Matches and pyrotechnics.
  • Aerosols, sprays, paints, bleach, glue, and flammable substances.
  • Products containing alcohol, including antiseptics, vape liquids, perfume, and eau de toilette.
  • Airbags.
  • Dry ice.

5. Alcohol, tobacco, and nicotine products:

  • Alcohol, ethyl alcohol, beer.
  • Tobacco products, smoking mixtures, electronic cigarettes, squonk boxes.
  • Any products containing nicotine.

6. Narcotics and restricted substances:

  • Narcotics, psychotropic substances, and precursors.
  • Nootropics and neurostimulants.
  • CBD and any products containing it.

7. Medicines and medical goods:

  • Medicines of any kind, including painkillers, hormonal medicines, and syrups.

8. Financial and personal documents:

  • Money, currency, money transfers, bonds, securities, checks, cards, lottery tickets.
  • Passports, IDs, and any personal documents.
  • SIM cards.

9. Other prohibited categories:

  • Car tires, bicycle tires, and all types of tires when shipping on CDEK plans: SuperFast, FastBox, Express, CDEK BY ONE, CDEK BY COMBO, CDEK BY COMBO Courier, CDEK KZ COMBO Courier, CDEK KZ COMBO, CDEK KZ ONE. Tires that are part of a fully assembled vehicle (bicycle, scooter, etc.) are allowed.
  • Radioactive materials.
  • Quadcopters, drones, and parts for them.
  • Perishable goods.
  • Seeds, fertilizers, plants, animals.
  • Cultural valuables, antiques, collectible coins, precious stones, including rough diamonds.
  • Anything banned by postal, customs, and legal regulations, including acts of the Universal Postal Union and the Customs Union.
